VIDEO disabled man then throws him in front of bus
THIS is the shocking moment a convicted rapist from Poland savagely beats a man with learning difficulties before Damien Pankiewicz, who had been in Britain for just two days, was sentenced to 12 years in jail for the unprovoked attack after he was found guilty of causing grievous bodily harm. The 37-year-old will be deported after serving his prison sentence because Inner London Crown Court was also told he had convictions for rape and assault in Poland.Pankiewicz, of no fixed address, repeatedly punched his disabled victim – knocking him unconscious. While the injured man was knocked out he dragged him into the road and left him in front of an oncoming bus, which managed to stop just in time. The victim was left with bleeding on the brain, a broken leg and broken ribs. He had to stay in hospital for three weeks after the vicious assault, which took place on June 22, 2015.When police detained Pankiewicz, he head butted the window of the police car, smashing it and causing minor facial injuries to himself. During the trial, in which Pankiewicz pleaded not guilty, he claimed that the victim had stolen his phone. But this was disproved when CCTV evidence was reviewed.
